James Radford Exits Totalkare After Nearly 30 years’ Service

The board of Directors of Totalkare Heavy Duty Workshop Solutions Ltd announces that James Radford is stepping back from his role as Sales & Marketing Director after almost three decades with the Company.

James joined the business in 1992 in the capacity of Internal Salesperson and after displaying a flair for sales and a passion for the bus, coach and trucking industries, quickly progressed through the ranks, joining the Board in 2002 as Sales & Marketing Director.

In 2018, James co-led a management buy out at Totalkare and alongside CEO David Hall has spearheaded company growth of nearly 100% in the past three years as the business expanded its portfolio with the introduction of testing products to reposition itself as commercial vehicle workshop equipment experts.

Now, as Totalkare embarks on what is expected to be another period of sustained growth with further expansion of its products and services, James is stepping back whilst remaining a Non-Executive Director of the company.

“As I look back on nearly 30 years with the business, I take great satisfaction in having been part of a great team that has grown Totalkare into the leading workshop equipment company it is today,” said James, “I look forward to supporting further growth in my new role as a Non-Executive board member and believe there are many exciting years ahead.”

Looking ahead

Replacing James is Adam Bowser, who has been promoted to the position of Sales Director following 12 years of high performance as part of Totalkare’s sales team.  A popular figure with colleagues, customers, and suppliers alike, Adam will apply frontline industry knowledge, and energy to the role to support the continued growth of the business.

David Hall commented: “James Radford stepping back from the business leaves some huge shoes to fill, and I am delighted his vast knowledge and experience will remain available to us in his new role.  It does present an exciting opportunity to Adam, however, and the experience he has gained from working alongside James will give him a fantastic platform from which to drive sales of our expanding portfolio.”

New Finance Director

In a further change within the leadership team, Totalkare is pleased to announce the appointment of Surbjit Gogna as Finance Director, who joins the business on 1 June 2021.  Surbjit brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to support the Totalkare management team in the further diversification of the portfolio and next phases of its strategic growth plan.  Surbjit’s appointment sees Peter Geobey step into a Non-Executive Director role with finance responsibilities handed over.
