David Hall

Managing Director

David joined Totalkare as Managing Director in May 2018, bringing with him a detailed knowledge of lifting products and a wealth of experience across a range of product and service businesses, with a particular focus on delivering excellence for the customer. Together with the Totalkare team, David is committed to continuously improving the Company’s offering in product, service and training to support steady growth and enhance Totalkare’s reputation as the best heavy-duty workshop solutions provider in the industry.

Outside work, David is a keen supporter of Aston Villa FC, enjoys keeping fit by regularly running 10k and half-marathons, and spending time with his family.

Mike Lord

Non-Executive Chairman

Mike is a highly successful serial entrepreneur. He led Minivator from £5m to £50m in revenue over a decade of successful growth, concluding with a double digit EBITDA multiple exit valuation.

Mike is Non-Executive Chairman at TotalKare, and has been a significant shareholder since 2010.

He is also the CEO at Stiltz Ltd, a fast growing home lift business, and a Non-Executive Director at LightwaveRF Plc.

James Radford

Sales & Marketing Director

James started working at Totalkare in October 1992 as a trainee selling ancillary products and dealing with major repairs. Throughout his time with the Company, James has covered the Midlands, South East, Scotland and Ireland. Since 2002, James has been the Sales Director and covers Scotland, Ireland and some key accounts.

Away from work, James is a Worcester Warriors RFC season ticket holder and a keen amateur tri-athlete.

Peter Geobey

Finance Director

Peter has been part-time Finance Director with Totalkare since 2012. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience with SME businesses.

Peter is also the CFO of Stiltz Ltd, a fast growing home lift business.

Away from work, Peter is a West Bromwich Albion FC season ticket holder and a member at Warwickshire CCC.

John Smith

Field Service Engineer

John was a mechanic and MOT tester for a small independent Vauxhall specialist before he joined the Totalkare team as a field service engineer. John spends his working day meeting customers and ensuring their Totalkare products are in full working order.

Spending time with family is important to John, and what he chooses to spend most of his free time doing.

Jack Whitehouse

Technical Supervisor

Jack studied engineering at college before joining Totalkare in 2013 as a factory apprentice. He has since demonstrated valuable skills and vast technical knowledge, progressing within Totalkare to his current role as Technical Supervisor. Jack has the responsibility of training and assessing the Company’s field engineers in the competencies required to successfully carry out servicing and repairs on-site for clients.  As such, Jack is the ‘go-to’ man for our engineers when they are in need of technical advice and/or support on site.

In his spare time, you can find Jack tinkering with his car or enjoying good food and drink with friends.

Graham Simmons

Product Specialist

Graham joined us in 2019 as our brake tester product specialist to support us as we expand our product offering and transition into a new area. He brings with him over 23 years’ experience and expert product knowledge of the BM brake tester range.

Mark Lory

Field Service Engineer

Mark started his career at Totalkare as a service engineer back in 2008. He can usually be found driving around in the scenic West Country and dealing with longstanding customers. One of Mark’s highlights has been when his Channel Islands customer bought two brand new additional sets of lifts and told him it was down to the consistent service they were receiving. It stuck with him because they hadn’t really said much before!

David Georgiou

Field Service Engineer

David has been at Totalkare since 1999 and has not looked back since!  He enjoys working on his own, making decisions and problem solving from day to day.  David’s advice for aspiring engineers is to do an apprenticeship or engineering course at college, but don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty with grease!

Tony Harnett

Field Service Engineer

Tony joined the Totalkare team in 2014 and enjoys the diversity of life out on the road and getting to grips with different service breakdowns. Before life as a service engineer, Tony was a keen DJ for 27 years, playing at weddings and even built his own sound system! If he isn’t testing out mobile column lifts, you can find Tony watching movies or fishing in his local spot.

Tony Boyce

Field Service Engineer

Tony is one of our longest serving engineers, celebrating the achievement of 20 years’ service in 2019. The most important piece of advice Tony gives is to always be yourself and enjoy the process of working hard – the rewards will come! Outside of work you can find him being a daring motorcyclist and spending time with his grandchildren.

Michael Wyatt

Field Service Engineer

Michael joined Totalkare in 2020 after having worked in garage equipment for a few years and as an engineer on the London Underground prior to that. Originally from London, Michael is now based in Glasgow, and therefore will support our Scotland customer sites.

Since joining the Totalkare team, Michael most looks forward to embracing new challenges within the heavy duty side of workshop equipment and helping to expand Totalkare’s presence within Scotland.

Outside of work he supports West Ham United, enjoys following boxing, and most importantly spending time with his daughter.

Peter Elston

Field Service Engineer

Peter joined Totalkare in 2002 with a varied knowledge of engineer servicing.  Whilst at work, he enjoys teaching new apprentices and looking after a variety of clients across the country.  As well as trips abroad in Germany and Italy, a highlight for Peter was a military contract where he had the opportunity to work in the Falklands!  Peter loves the outdoors and can often be found walking and attending the Cosford Air Show.

Stuart Hall

Field Service Engineer

Stuart has worked for Totalkare since 2013 and is very experienced in servicing and repairs. Whilst experiencing different sites and challenges at work, Stuart loves to enjoy the attractive sites of Scotland when the job arises and travelling around the country. His interest in engineering was sparked at a young age which he then pursued through college where he undertook advanced training. When Stuart isn’t servicing lifts, he likes to spend time with his son.  He is also a member of Carlisle Reivers cycling club.

Abdul Jalloh

Field Service Engineer

Abdul started with Totalkare in 2018, however his work history has not always been servicing! Back in his university days Abdul studied Fine Art, but he soon realised his talents lay in engineering after being introduced to the industry by a friend.  When Abdul isn’t out on the road, he is a keen basketballer and enjoys snapping up the latest video games!

Ryan Skinner

Field Service Engineer

Before working at Totalkare, Ryan had been studying Business & Media at Halesowen College but before realising he was more of a hands-on person, prompting him to undertake an engineering apprenticeship.  He enjoys seeing places he usually might not visit when he is out on the road maintaining our vehicle lifts! When he isn’t at work, you can catch Ryan watching Netflix or riding his pit bike with friends.

Daniel Haire

Field Service Engineer

Before joining Totalkare towards the end of 2019, Daniel worked maintaining and repairing vehicle passenger lifts for eight years. He brings with him his technical and engineering skills, which he now applies to heavy duty workshop equipment, supporting Totalkare customers around the country.

Daniel is very family oriented and has a son and daughter who he spends lots of time with outside of work. He has a keen interest in cars, and regularly participates in BMW Mini meet ups and shows with his son.

Ben Myers

Field Service Engineer

Ben joined Totalkare at the beginning of 2020 as a field service engineer, following nine years as a car mechanic. He was keen to broaden his skills, and apply his engineering knowledge to a new field. He now supports our customers with their workshop equipment maintenance and repair.

Ben is active outside of work, with a keen interest in kickboxing, which he teaches.

Matthew Jackson

Field Service Engineer

Matt spent more than 25 years as an electrical engineer before bringing his technical know-how to service engineering with Totalkare.  Whilst relishing new challenges out on the road, Matt highlights that a good team morale is vital to achieving success, and advises any aspiring engineers to undertake an apprenticeship and get as much experience as possible in order to become an expert.  Away from the tools, Matt is quite the keen sportsman – in his spare time, he manages Sheffield United Ladies football team, and when he’s not doing that he enjoys the odd game of badminton when time allows!

Paul Fellows

Workshop Manager

Paul joined Totalkare in 2019 as Workshop Supervisor to manage the workshop team and oversee the day-to-day coordination of activities and scheduling. He brings with him plenty of experience after nearly 14 years at Jaguar Land Rover and seven at a tier one automotive supplier.

A West Bromwich Albion FC season ticket holder, you will often find him at the football, socialising, or planning the next trip or holiday in his spare time.

Carl Woodhouse

Parts Controller

Carl has been at Totalkare since the turn of the century, working the majority of the time in the Parts Department.  Carl spends his time between replenishing parts to Totalkare’s fleet of field engineers and despatching parts orders to customers.

When not in work Carl enjoys nothing more than a long run or swim. Carl has a passion for road bikes, and also enjoys going out with family and friends for a meal.

Mitch Jones

Rebuild Engineer

Mitch joined the company in 1989 as a radial drill operator, completing 30 years’ service in 2019.  Nowadays Mitch can be found working on customers’ mid-life refurbishments or fixing up reconditioned lifts ready for re-sale.

Mitch’s personal hobbies include playing golf and watching movies as well as supporting Aston Villa FC.

Gavin Lenton

Rebuild Engineer

Gavin joined Totalkare towards the end of 2017 as a rebuild engineer and in his short time with the Company has proven himself to be an asset for the Workshop Team on several fronts.

Having recently become a father, Gavin is learning to juggle a bottle or two whilst spending time with his family, while chances to spend time tinkering under an engine have noticeably decreased!

Warren Ryatt

Rebuild Engineer

Warren joined Totalkare in June 2017 as a steam cleaner within the Workshop Team. He is also responsible for overhauling, re-stickering and cleaning lifts, preparing them for despatch.

Outside of work, Warren enjoys watching his beloved Birmingham City FC play at St Andrews.

Joe Snipe

Apprentice Factory Engineer

Joe joined Totalkare in March 2018 as an Apprentice Factory Engineer after finishing college with A Levels in mathematics, business and accounting.

Joe was introduced to the industry by his father and has not looked back since. He is going from strength to strength, learning the fundamentals of reconstructing lifts, whilst relishing the day to day challenges that the workshop brings. If he isn’t stripping parts from a lift, you can find Joe playing football for Halas Hawks or socialising with friends.

Luke Simmons

Field Service Engineer

Before joining Totalkare in 2019, Luke gained five years’ experience the garage equipment brake tester division at Gemco. Previous to this he worked in a truck workshop on Northampton borough council vehicles. In his spare time, Luke can be found working on his land rover and enjoying weekends away. He’s keen to keep fit and healthy, enjoying walks and having recently began at the gym again.

Brian Young

National Accounts Manager

Brian has been Totalkare’s national account manager since 2007 and also covers parts of Northern England. Brian first joined the Company in 1998 as salesman for the North and, after a short stint working elsewhere, returned to Totalkare in 2007.  Since then Brian has built successful and enduring relationships with key customers nationwide.

Away from the office, Brian is a keen cyclist and Liverpool FC season ticket holder.  A man of many talents, in his early career he spent several years working in a bakery, achieving City & Guilds qualification in the process!

Adam Bowser

Area Sales Manager

Adam joined Totalkare in 2009 after previously working for Lloyds Banking Group.  Initially, Adam’s remit was to deliver special projects whilst covering the Midlands area, but he was soon promoted to Area Sales Manager and has covered the South East region for Totalkare since 2010.

Away from the office, Adam is a keen rugby player and plays for Stourbridge Rugby Club.  When he was a young boy, he auditioned when Nestlé were searching for the next Milky Bar Kid – Adam was among the final five candidates shortlisted but just missed out in the end!

George Georgiou

Area Sales Manager

George Georgiou is the Area Sales Manager for the South West for Totalkare.  Originally starting in marketing and internal sales back in 2002, George has held various roles during his time at Totalkare, including covering the whole of the UK as the Company’s Service Contract Executive.

Prior to joining Totalkare, George was a professional footballer and played for several clubs in Cyprus, most notably Apoel Nicosia.  These days George is a keen actor away from work, appearing in many amateur dramatic productions in the West Midlands.

Jack Longstaff

Area Sales Manager

Jack joined Totalkare in late 2017. He brings with him over four years’ sales experience within the motor vehicle industry and prides himself on his ability to build rapport and long-lasting relationships with many kinds of people from different walks of life.

Having once upon a time been on the books at Leeds United FC, Jack still enjoys playing football at an amateur level as well as watching his favourite team – Huddersfield Town FC.

Jessica Porter

Internal Sales Manager

Jess started Totalkare life in the Service Department before moving into Sales in 2016. As a result, she has an extensive knowledge of both the sales and service side of the business – but has yet to try the accounting team!

When Jess is not fulfilling her vital role selling ancillary products, arranging deliveries of lifts or managing repairs, she’s often to be found teaching at her local dance school.

John Ray

Area Sales Manager

John has been in the motor trade since the age of 16 and is a trained Mechanic and MOT tester. He has experienced a variety of roles throughout his career from van driver through to Business Development Manager and Workshop Specialist. He spent four years working for a national workshop equipment company before joining Totalkare in 2020 to support customers in the South. He’s also a part time HGV driver, which satisfies his enjoyment of being around trucks.

Outside work John is a keen follower of all motorsports, including F1 and F2 stock car racing. He enjoys classic cars and is currently restoring an MX-5. He spends the rest of his time enjoying all that Devon and Cornwall has to offer with his partner.

Jack Webb

Service Contract Administrator

Jack re-joined Totalkare in 2019 after an 18-month stint in Canada working in Human Resources for Scotiabank, one of the major banks in Toronto. He previously worked with Totalkare as a Service Contract Administrator from 2015 – 2018 and picked up where he left off and supporting customers with their service and ancillary product requirements.

Emma Carter

Service Contract Administrator

Emma has joined the Totalkare team in late 2017 and is responsible for all of Totalkare’s service contracts and renewals. Prior to working at Totalkare, Emma has worked in utilities and gas distribution for 12 years, dealing with major gas incidents, resource management and scheduling.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to live music gigs, hosting dinner parties, painting and furniture up-cycling.

Aimee Sault

Service Contract Administrator

Aimee joined Totalkare’s Sales team in early 2018 and is responsible for all direct debit contracts, bringing with her transport logistics experience from her previous role with Tooles Transport.

In her spare time, Aimee enjoys attending music festivals and cites We are Festival, Park Life and Bassfest among her favourites.  When she’s not throwing shapes in a field somewhere, Aimee also likes to spend time with family and friends.

Sinead Farnan

Service Manager

Sinead joined Totalkare in 2017 as After Sales Supervisor, ensuring the smooth running of the Service Department.  Since leaving school, Sinead has spent her entire career in the transport and logistics industry and has extensive experience in scheduling. She has very much enjoyed becoming part of the team and is excited for the future at Totalkare.

Sinead is quite the disco diva, and when the week is done you’ll often find her being the life and soul of a party or two!

Kelly Hart

After Sales Team Leader

Kelly joined Totalkare back in 2005, originally as short term cover for someone else, and she has been part of the Service Department ever since!  Kelly primarily schedules work for Totalkare’s field engineers in the London area, providing them with back office support as and when required.

Outside of work Kelly is kept busy looking after her children and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Sam Tilley

After Sales Controller

Sam has worked for Totalkare since 2010, starting her career as a business administration apprentice, dividing her time between the office and college.  Upon completion of her studies, Sam was taken on full-time and joined the Service Department where she is now responsible for the scheduling of our field engineers.

In her spare time Sam enjoys keeping fit at the gym and is also partial to the odd cocktail or two on a night out!

Beth Dunn

After Sales Administrator

Beth joined Totalkare midway through 2018 and supports the Service team in scheduling work for Totalkare’s field service engineers based in and around the London area, whilst dealing with customers daily and having the opportunity to sell service contracts.

Away from the office she enjoys keeping fit at the gym and socialising with friends.

David Hems

Financial Controller

David joined Totalkare in 2008 and has held the role of Financial Controller for the Company throughout this time.  After training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at the start of his career, David worked for a die-casting firm for seven years before spending a further seven years in the project manufacturing industry.

Outside of work, he is a keen rock concert goer and enjoys a good pint of real ale.

Glenda Barratt

Commercial Manager

Glenda has been with the company 50 years. Starting back when Totalkare was known as Walter Somers, Glenda began in the accounts department, and then moved to another company within the group to become secretary to the managing director. Later moving to the sales department as sales office manager, where she worked for several years, after which she returned to accounts team and is now commercial manager.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and dining out.

Mandy Weston

Credit Controller

Mandy has been working for Totalkare for over a decade as the Company’s credit controller, managing a sales ledger of over 750 customers. Mandy joined the business already with 20+ years’ experience in credit control along with other accounts procedures, having previously worked at the Lye head office for Corus, better known these days as TATA.

A keen baker in her spare time, Mandy’s carrot cake is legendary in the Totalkare office and you have to be quick to grab a slice before they’ve all vanished!

Daniel Rowbottom

Commercial Assistant

Prior to joining Totalkare in 2016, Daniel worked in an accountancy practice in Wolverhampton. During his time at Totalkare, he also pursued a career in music, working with different bands & artists throughout the UK and Europe as a tour manager and backline technician.

Daniel loves spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends. He has recently started streaming games on twitch and is a big collector and player of the trading card game – Yu-Gi-Oh. He also enjoys keeping fit by running or going to the gym.

Daniel Teferi

Assistant Accountant

Daniel previously worked as an assistant accountant at specialist training company before looking for a new challenge with Totalkare.

He is a big fitness fan and likes to stay active and healthy by using the gym on a regular basis.

Steve Braund

Marketing Manager

Steve heads up the Marketing department at Totalkare, with over a decade’s experience of marketing management in a number of industries including music, training, energy & utilities.  Prior to embarking on his career in marketing, Steve worked as both a graphic designer and journalist whilst also fronting and managing a moderately successful rock band in his spare time.

He enjoys going to gigs, good food, better wine and supporting Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

Tristan Johnston

Product Manager

Tristan joined TotalKare’s Marketing Department in 2012 and has implemented numerous successful campaigns since then that have directly contributed to the Company’s success since. After getting more involved in other areas of the Company, he relinquished his marketing responsibilities to oversee the systems and processes within the business, including sales management, service scheduling and factory processes.  Most recently, Tristan has progressed to become a product manager overseeing the launch and development of new products to market.

Before working at Totalkare, Tristan had an interesting and diverse career path with roles in marine biology, print management and product development.

Brendan Scott

Product Manager

Brendan joined the Totalkare team midway through 2020 to support with the ambitious growth targets of the business, including the expansion of products.

He brings with him over 14 years’ experience in Product Marketing and Management within a variety of product areas, including lifting products, compressors and hydraulics to name just a few.

In his spare time Brendan enjoys spending time with his family and two young boys, keeping fit, DIY and gardening.

Clare Abrey

Marketing Executive

Clare has been a member of Totalkare’s Marketing team since December 2018 and has bags of experience in project and event management, photography and copywriting.  Boasting not one but two media degrees, she has wasted no time in getting stuck into a number of key projects, displaying natural creative flair and commercial awareness.

Clare’s previous marketing experience has been divided between the financial and education sectors, and prior to that she spent some time working in television production, notably the Jeremy Kyle Show.  Away from work, Clare has a passion for photography and visiting friends & family.

Pavan Jheeta

Product Marketing Assistant

Pavan joined Totalkare’s Marketing Department towards the end of 2019 and has experience in digital marketing in a number of industries. Studying a degree in IT nurtured Pavan’s ability to be creative, to problem solve and manage a number of tasks at once. Pavan previously worked as a Marketing Co-ordinator where he was involved in many different projects to help grow the business. He is also obsessed with innovating new ways of creating amazing content that’s useful and effective.

Away from work he enjoys playing tennis on a weekly basis and is currently involved in local competitions. He is also a keen traveller and passionate fan of Manchester United FC, although he admits it is hard being one at the moment!
