Totalkare soars in Best Companies rankings

There were celebrations at Totalkare’s offices this week as the latest rankings from Best Companies were announced, listing the workshop equipment experts as the second-best manufacturing employer and the 12th best small company to work for in the UK.
The Company’s overall ranking was upgraded from “very good” to “outstanding” following another successful b-heard employee engagement survey, in which the company was also ranked the 17th best company (of any size) to work for in the West Midlands. The detailed survey measures employee engagement across a wide number of topics, with scores from 49 of these questions calculated in line with Best Companies’ 8 Factors of Workplace Engagement.
Highlights of the survey include:
- 88% of staff agreed that their team is fun to work with
- 83% of staff agreed Totalkare has a strong social conscience
- 76% of staff agreed they were happy with the balance between their work and home life
David Hall, CEO for Totalkare commented: “After priding ourselves building on a great culture at Totalkare it is brilliant to see that evidenced by what our staff are saying and yet another great result from Best Companies, competing with some much larger companies across many industries in the West Midlands. People can feel the value we place on wellbeing and work-life balance, something we work hard to maintain.”
“We have improved upon our engagement rate over last quarter whilst continuing to score very well in the high priority areas. Our recent office expansion, enhanced pension, gym access and social events all contribute to these results, and we look forward to how our development of these benefits will be reflected in future surveys.”
