TotalKare names Mary Stevens Hospice as its Charity of the Year

TotalKare is pleased to announce its staff have selected Mary Stevens Hospice as the Company’s chosen charity of the year for 2017.

Based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, Mary Stevens Hospice has been providing high quality care for people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses since 1991 to those within the Dudley Borough, the Black Country and surrounding areas. Professional staff are on hand to spend time with patients, addressing their individual holistic, nursing, medical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. The team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and volunteers offers a full range of clinical services.

Supporting the Hospice, TotalKare has donated the proceeds from its fundraising efforts over the course of 2017. These have included dress-down days, raffles and a variety of other activities.

Hannah Rowley, marketing assistant and fundraising coordinator at TotalKare, said “TotalKare is proud to support local charities. For the past couple of years, we have been involved in a range of charitable activities and are delighted to be able to provide Mary Stevens Hospice with these funds to help continue its excellent work in helping families and individuals in the local community.”

Laura Millard, Community Engagement Officer, Mary Stevens Hospice, said:

“Our care simply wouldn’t be available for families in their hour of greatest need, without the remarkable contribution of supporters like the team at TotalKare.

They’ve gone above and beyond to support our work, and the real-world impact of their efforts is that a family can access the care they deserve when their loved ones needs us most.

So we’d just like to say thank you to all of the team for their generosity, their passion and their kindness.”
