TOTALKARE expands to meet growing demand

A successful name change, enhanced after-sales service and the popularity of its expanding range of heavy-duty vehicle lifts have led to the expansion of the TOTALKARE headquarters in Halesowen.

Formerly known as SOMERSTOTALKARE, the UK’s number-one provider of heavy-duty vehicle-lifting solutions has been based at Coombs Wharf for the past six years.

Now it has taken over an adjoining 2500 sq foot warehouse and workshop facility to help meet growing demand for its products and services.

Tim Jackson, TOTALKARE Managing Director, explained: “Across all areas of the business, we enjoyed a very successful 2015, and this year we are looking to build on that success.

“Key to this is the expansion of our headquarters in Halesowen, a move that gives us more room to carry out lift refurbishments and repairs as well as space for stock as we expand our range of core products, ancillaries and parts.”

The expanded facilities will also support TOTALKARE’s new online shop, which was launched in January. As well as highlighting the company’s extensive range of lift accessories – from transmission jacks and individual support stands to trailer beams and light vehicle adaptors – the new shop at www.totalkare.co.uk/shop/ enables customers to order parts and spares online.

News of the expansion comes as the company prepares to launch several new products, including a two-post lift and light four-post lift.

“Most importantly, our expansion reflects TOTALKARE’s growing commitment to providing a comprehensive heavy-duty vehicle-lifting solution for customers across a wide range of industry sectors, including bus and coach, commercial vehicle, waste and recycling,” Tim said.

“It will act as a central hub for our nationwide team of engineers who deliver our popular fixed-cost serving and maintenance contracts that have proved so successful over the last 12 months.”
