The Pallet Company upgrades workshop with Totalkare In-Ground Brake Tester

Cradley Heath-based pallet manufacturer The Pallet Company has invested in new workshop equipment with the purchase of a TK70 in-ground brake tester from Totalkare, ensuring its vehicles perform reliably, reducing accident risk and meeting regulatory requirements. 

Based on Powke Lane, Cradley Heath, The Pallet Company has also previously purchased an inspection pit and pneumatic pit jacks from Totalkare, which it is very happy with. 

The new installation allows the company to carry out brake testing on-site, reducing vehicle downtime and reliance on third-party providers, and helping get vehicles back on the road faster. 

Totalkare’s in-ground brake tester enables in-house testing for fleets requiring more frequent inspections to ensure they are compliant with DVSA standards. Built for strength and durability, the brake tester system can test vehicles with maximum axle loads of 20,000kg. 

The Pallet Company has also signed an inspection and maintenance contract with Totalkare, helping to ensure its workshop equipment remains properly maintained and in good working condition.
