Rosenbauer returns to Totalkare for additional column lifts

The UK division of the largest global manufacturer of fleet and equipment options to Fire & Rescue Services has bolstered its workshop capabilities with additional mobile column lifts from Totalkare.

Based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, Rosenbauer UK supplies to and supports the British and Irish municipal, aviation and industrial fire services with its firefighting vehicles and equipment.

The manufacturer added a set of Totalkare’s T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts in 2018 to support the work carried out by its service team.  These were accompanied by large wheel bump plates to enable the lifting of a variety of vehicles including the award-winning Panther.

Rosenbauer has now added an additional pair of T8DC mobile column lifts to provide even greater lifting flexibility in the workshop and service a wider range of vehicles.

Boasting adjustment forks and a lifting capacity of 7,500kg per column, the T8DC can be used in configurations of 4, 6 or 8 columns to provide a lifting solution for vehicles up to 60,000kg.

“Introducing the Totalkare mobile column lifts was a major step in improving our workshop productivity, ultimately helping to maintain high levels of service with our customers,” said Thomas Gosney, Service Coordinator for Rosenbauer UK, “Adding additional T8DC column lifts provides greater flexibility to a proven solution and will facilitate the effective repair and maintenance for a wider range of vehicles as a result.”

Jack Longstaff, Area Sales Manager for Totalkare, said: “There’s no better endorsement of our products than repeat business, and Rosenbauer UK’s decision to increase their mobile column lifts to a set of six underlines how beneficial they’ve found our lifting solution.  The additional column lifts will be added to their existing service contract and I look forward to strengthening our relationship with Rosenbauer UK further in due course.”
