Air Conditioning Nitrogen Leak Detector
One way to check for leaks in an A/C system is to use an inert gas such as nitrogen or hydrogen. This method, which uses differential pressure or direct detection. Differential pressure testing is primarily suitable for the initial testing of strongly leaking or even empty systems. Direct detection using hydrogen and leak detectors is much more precise and sensitive.

OFN PRESSURE TEST KIT is used to detect leaks in an air conditioning system before recharging it. Being Oxygen free it doesn’t contain any moisture which would be harmful to the A/C system. It is illegal to knowingly release refrigerant into the atmosphere which is why OFN is used.

The FORMING GAS PRESSURE TEST KIT WITH LEAK DETECTOR uses forming gas as a smart and true solution since it’s chemical composition (95% nitrogen and 5% hydrogen) allows detection of even the smallest leaks with extreme precision, thanks to its molecular size, much smaller than any refrigerant gas. It is illegal to knowingly release refrigerant into the atmosphere which is why OFN is used.
