New lifts to be unveiled by TOTALKARE at Euro Bus Expo

The UK’s number one provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions is set to offer even more choice in the column lift market with the unveiling of a new product at the forthcoming Euro Bus Expo.

Ahead of the event in Birmingham, TOTALKARE is keeping details of the latest addition to its acclaimed product range under wraps, promising the coach and bus industry a first look at what promises to be a significant step forward for the company.

Tristan Johnston, Sales and Marketing Manager at Halesowen-based TOTALKARE explained: “Following our change of name from Somerstotalkare last year we strived to expand our support services, including fixed-cost maintenance and Reports of Thorough Examination.

“It’s also been our intention to expand our product portfolio and the launch of the new lift at Euro Bus will see the company fulfilling this commitment to customers.”

As well as being amongst the first to see the new mobile column lifts, visitors to stand E88 will be able to get a close up look at an example of the company’s established fixed post lift range.

Available in a range of capacities from 16–33T, and with platform lengths of 7–18m, the fixed-post lifts are suitable for lifting most types of bus or coach, and the lighter models are ideal for minibuses and other more compact public service vehicles.

TOTALKARE fixed-post lifts can also be surface or recess-mounted with a galvanised option also available for external or wash-bay applications. This is the first time the company has brought such products to a show aimed at the bus and coach industry.

Tristan added: “Helping us to show off the capabilities of our lifts at the event will be vehicles supplied by David Fishwick, of Channel 4’s Bank of Dave fame and Go South Coast.

“We’re pleased to be able to showcase some of their vehicles on our stand alongside TOTALKARE’s own industry leading products and services.”
