MTC Northwest adds TotalKare two post lift to Merseyside workshop

A leading truck dealer for DAF, MAN and Hino Motors has boosted the efficiency of its workshop following the addition of a new lifting solution.

MTC Northwest, which operates a 12-bay service facility in Knowsley, has invested in a Two Post Lift from TotalKare that will make it easier to repair and service long wheel base vans such as the MAN TGE (pictured above on TotalKare’s stand at the recent Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham).

The telescopic arms of the latest addition provide great flexibility and, when the lifting arms are fully extended, it is capable of raising a safe working load of 5,500kg.

This installation complements an existing investment in mobile column lifts that have been playing an important role in day-to-day activities in Merseyside for nearly 15 years.

Quick set-up for swift vehicle inspection
