Monmouthshire County Council raising standards with TotalKare lift

The UK’s premier supplier of heavy-duty workshop solutions is helping Monmouthshire County Council’s highways department keep motorists on the move following the installation of a heavy-duty vehicle lift.

TotalKare has installed a four-post lift into the Council’s busy workshop, enabling the highways network management team to maintain its fleet of vehicles effectively and ensure maximum availability to tackle the issues associated with the seasonal cold weather ahead.

Electronic self-alignment system

The electro-mechanical four-post lift is nine metres in length and able to lift 25,000kg. It is supplied with lighting kit and 12,000kg jacking beam, and incorporates an electronic self-alignment system.

After initial discussions with TotalKare, Debbie Jackson, Fleet Manager for the Council, chose to invest in the lift after seeing it demonstrated on TotalKare’s stand at Euro Bus Expo in October 2018.

The lift was subsequently installed before Christmas 2018 and comes complete with a two-year call-out, parts & labour warranty and service contract guaranteeing two engineer visits per year in line with LOLER and PUWER requirements.

Very impressed with service, delivery and installation

“We were delighted to be able to provide our Euro Bus Expo demonstration lift to Monmouthshire County Council,” said Area Sales Manager George Georgiou, “The nine-metre, 25,000kg four-post lift is a popular configuration for many TotalKare customers, however we are able to provide four-post lifts in a variety of lengths and weight capacities ranging to suite a range of applications, with surface or recess-mounting available too.”

Jackson added: “I am very impressed with the service, delivery and installation of the four post lift from TotalKare.”
