M&A DOOCEY CIVIL ENGINEERING INVESTS IN HEAVY DUTY LIFTING SOLUTION FROM TOTALKARE
Leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor M&A Doocey Civil Engineering has further strengthened its workshop capabilities with the installation of a 35,000kg, 8-metre platform Y-MECH lift and a 20,000kg heavy-duty jacking beam from Totalkare.
As part of the Doocey Group, M&A Doocey Civil Engineering delivers major infrastructure projects across the utilities, highways and civil engineering sectors throughout the UK. With a large fleet of specialist HGVs, construction vehicles and plant equipment supporting projects nationwide, reliable in-house maintenance is essential to keeping operations running efficiently.
To enhance its engineering facilities, the company selected Totalkare’s heavy-duty lifting solutions, enabling technicians to safely service a broad range of vehicles while improving workshop productivity.
The centrepiece of the installation is Totalkare’s Y-MECH lift, featuring an 8 metre platform and a lifting capacity of 35,000kg. Designed for demanding commercial vehicle workshops, the lift provides unrestricted access to vehicles during servicing, inspections and repairs. Complementing the installation is a 20,000kg jacking beam, allowing engineers to safely raise individual axles for brake, suspension and wheel-end maintenance without removing the vehicle from the platform.
A spokesperson for M&A Doocey Civil Engineering said:
“As our fleet continues to grow, investing in high-quality workshop equipment is essential to maintaining the reliability and availability of our vehicles. Totalkare’s Y-MECH lift and jacking beam provide the capacity, safety and flexibility our engineering team needs to maintain our fleet efficiently, helping minimise downtime and support our operations across the UK.”
Jay Chauhan at Totalkare added:
“We’re proud to support M&A Doocey Civil Engineering with equipment that matches the demands of its operation. The combination of the Y-MECH lift and heavy-duty jacking beam provides a versatile solution for maintaining large commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. It’s another example of Totalkare helping fleet operators invest in workshop infrastructure that delivers long-term value and operational benefits.”
