Geesinknorba upgrades workshop with TotalKare column lifts

TotalKare is pleased to announce one of the UK’s leading waste management companies, Geesinknorba Group, has chosen to upgrade its St Albans service centre with a set of heavy duty mobile column lifts.

Geesinknorba Group, one of Europe’s most dedicated providers for innovative vehicle maintenance and handling services, has been in business since 1875 and its name is synonymous with waste management.

By installing the TotalKare T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts, which only require a single phase 230V power supply to function, Geesinknorba Group’s service technicians are able to manoeuvre them freely around the workshop. The T8DC can lift 7,500kg per column, whilst adjustable forks enable vehicles with smaller wheels to be connected in up to eight column configurations to suit a plethora of requirements. The flexibility of this allows the columns to fit a wide range of vehicles, from buses to coaches and all the way through to waste and recycling.

“Our dedicated service centres provide prompt and efficient service and maintenance to our customers. We maintain entire fleets of RCVs, meaning we need to be able to get underneath the vehicle with ease,” commented Mick Hill General Manager at Geesinknorba Group, “By implementing TotalKare cable-free lifts we can ensure we work safely whilst providing a quick turnaround for our valued customers.”

Brian Young, National Account Manager for TotalKare, said “Our T8DC mobile column lifts are advantageous for our clients as they are easier to store away and no cables means that loss prevention in the work place is avoided. We have supported Geesinknorba for many years and will continue to provide them with our expert products and services for the foreseeable future.”
