Job Role & Purpose

Our mission is to be commercial vehicle workshop equipment experts. We need a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team of Engineers within our Dynamic and rapidly expanding business.  

This is a position that has been identified to ensure that we preserve the fantastic reputation we have with our customers by being Experts in everything that we do whilst being Effortless to deal with.  You will work closely with the Service Manager and their team to ensure that our customers get the first-class service that they deserve.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Your main purpose is to service vehicle lifts and other garage equipment moving into repairs once your experience has been assessed. You will deliver awesome service safely and efficiently in a Friendly environment. The role will evolve and develop as we continuously launch new products and services creating a unique and unrivalled offering to the commercial vehicle market.

  • Attending customers sites to service their garage equipment in your area
  • Repairing customers garage equipment back to good working order making sure our customers can keep on doing their jobs
  • Working with the service support team on your schedule and communicating any issues and updates to them
  • Quoting repairs to customers
  • Completing service reports and job notes on our field service system to give customers detailed reports and build up a service and support history of equipment
  • Reporting unsafe notices correctly on the field service system and the office
  • Reporting potential sales leads to the sales and marketing teams.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE

  • Have mechanical engineering knowledge and a desire to improve your skills and learn new ones 
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ideally practical experience in electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment  
  • Good timekeeping and punctuality 
  • Clean UK driving licence  
  • Flexibility with working hours with some nights away from home

HEALTH & SAFETY
