Engineer Tony Boyce clocks up 20 years with Totalkare

Tony Boyce celebrates 20 years' service with Totalkare

A Totalkare employee has been presented with a reward from the company after achieving 20 years’ service.

Tony Boyce joined Somers Vehicle Lifts, as the company was then known, in November 1999. Since then he has worked as a field service engineer, testing and maintaining lifts at customer sites across the north and west of London, and up to the south East Midlands.

Before joining Totalkare, Tony worked in the car wash industry alongside Pete Elston and Mark Lory, both of whom are also now Totalkare field service engineers.

Tony has seen a lot of changes over the years, particularly as technology has developed, and different models of lift have been introduced. He’s seen a management buyout, name change, full business rebrand and more recently, the rapid expansion and diversification of Totalkare’s product portfolio.

REWARDING EXPERIENCE AND DEDICATION

On a recent routine visit to Totalkare’s head office in Halesowen for stock taking, Tony was presented with flight vouchers in recognition of two decades of loyal service to the company.

David Hall, Managing Director of Totalkare, said “Many of our staff members have worked with us for an impressive amount of time, and we have some of the longest serving workers in the industry. We are always pleased to recognise and reward the experience and dedication of these colleagues. I know Tony has some family over in Australia, and we’d like to give him the chance to plan a trip.”

“I really appreciate the generous gift from the company. I’ve been wanting to plan a trip to either Thailand or to Australia, which I can now make happen,” Tony Boyce commented, “I’m lucky to have a job that I’ve enjoyed for so long. Some days are more challenging than others, but that keeps things exciting, and I always enjoy going to work.”
