Product showcase pays dividends at CV Show 2018

The doors are now closed on the CV Show 2018 and once again the show did not disappoint delivering a huge interest in TotalKare’s heavy duty lifting solutions within the commercial vehicle sector.

With help from suppliers Renault, MAN and Toyota, TotalKare attracted hundreds of visitors to its stand to highlight new products whilst reminding the industry of the complete lifting solutions available provided to the commercial vehicle market. Whether you are lifting tipper trucks, tractor units, vans, forklift trucks or anything in between, the TotalKare stand delivered the complete range of products customers were looking for.

Much interest in Two Post Lift

Showcasing the 5,500kg capacity Two Post Lift for the first time, TotalKare demonstrated the Lift’s ability to lift long wheel base vans by lifting the new MAN TGE van. It generated much interest amongst new and existing customers alike, proving the Two Post Lift to be a welcome addition to TotalKare’s product range.

Once again, the TotalKare team worked tirelessly to install the various heavy-duty vehicle lifts in the build up to the Show. The result was a head-turning display, including TotalKare’s Two Post and Four Post Lifts, the latter featuring the impressive Renault eight-wheel tipper truck that perfectly demonstrated the Lift’s 25,000kg lifting capacity, lighting options and 12,000kg jacking beam – just one of the many Four Post Lift configurations available from TotalKare.

Relaunch of Forklifter System

This year also saw the relaunch of TotalKare’s Forklifter Ramp System, which demonstrated how flexible mobile column lifts can be. By transforming a pair of mobile column lifts into a safe platform for lifting and working on forklift tucks at a safe working height, correctly supporting the vehicle to provide a safe working environment for operatives, visitors to the TotalKare stand were able to see first hand how versatile mobile column lifts can be.

Of course, TotalKare’s flagship T8 range of lifts continue to dominate the UK mobile column lift market and were represented on the Forklifter Ramp System as well as a separate set of four cable-free lifts lifting a Renault truck tractor unit. Each lift provides a lifting capacity of 7,500kg per column, can be connected as a set of 4, 6 or 8 columns, have adjustable forks and can be supplied cable-free or cabled depending on workshop requirements.

It all added up to a highly successful few days at Birmingham’s NEC – CV Show 2018, during which it was great to see familiar faces and meet new customers for the first time.
