Heavy-duty lifts a hit at coach and bus live

A leading trade show for public transport professionals has provided a welcome boost for the industry’s leading provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifts, Halesowen-based TOTALKARE.

The company’s range of cable-free lifts generated significant attention at Coach and Bus Live 2015 at the NEC in Birmingham.

The event brings together representatives from across the industry, and Tristan Johnston, Sales Manager at TOTALKARE, says it provided the ideal opportunity to strengthen existing business relationships, as well as forging new ones.

“Our lifts are a common sight in many coach and bus workshops across the country, and it was fantastic to see so many existing customers on our stand at the show.

“We also received plenty of interest from companies we haven’t worked with before, and even took several confirmed orders on a range of products, including cable-free lifts, cabled lifts and even some pre-owned models.”

Taking centre stage on the TOTALKARE stand was a set of the company’s acclaimed S6cf cable-free lifts. Capable of handling weights of up to 7.5 tonnes per column, the system can be used in various configurations, sets of 4, 6 or 8.

They also offer maximum flexibility, as they can be moved around a workshop to where they are needed, or put out of the way when not in use. The lack of cables also has obvious safety benefits, reducing the risk of trips and falls, and there is less chance of accidental damage, which reduces lifetime costs.

“Visitors to the stand were also given an insight into our expanding range of fixed cost servicing options, which have become increasingly popular, and other support services such as Reports of Thorough Examination,” Tristan added.
