One of the UK’s leading DAF dealerships, Channel Commercials, have added to their workshop with a heavy-duty TotalKare four post lift.

Channel Commercials is a specialist in both heavy and light commercial vehicles with busy workshops across Kent, selling new and used trucks and vans whilst offering a parts and service back up, along with a range of ancillary services.

A great alternative to digging an expensive pit

TotalKare had previously supplied the dealership with several sets of mobile column lifts, and with Channel Commercials seeking to extend its vehicle repair capabilities, TotalKare was consulted on the appropriate solution and ultimately the benefits of installing a TotalKare four post lift were preferred to the costs and health & safety considerations of digging an expensive pit.

While the four post lift with a jacking beam supplied has a lifting capacity of 25,000kg and a 9-metre platform length, TotalKare can provide heavy duty four post lifts with lifting capacities ranging from 16,000kg – 33,000kg and platform lengths from 1 – 18m. They can be surface or recess-mounted and are the ideal solution for when a fixed position for lifting operations is required.
