All about fixed lifts!

When selecting vehicle lifts for your workshop, one consideration you have is mobile or fixed. We can help you to consider the benefits of each here.

But now you have made the decision that fixed lifts are the way forward for your business, what next? What options are there, and what are the key differences?

At Totalkare, our most popular fixed lifts can be split into three main categories (with various options within each). Let’s digest each of those below.

Heavy Duty Four Post Lift

Our heavy duty four post lift is extremely strong and robust, built to support the heaviest of vehicles – with a range of lifting capacities available from 8,000kg – 33,000kg. A range of platform lengths are also available, from 7 – 18M, so you can create a piece of kit suitable for your exact requirements.

An added benefit of this product is that it can be manufactured fully galvanised, for use in wash bay set ups.

Additional extras, such as jacking beam and lighting options are available. It’s a truly customisable piece of equipment for your heavy duty workshop.

Light Commercial Four Post Lift

With a lifting capacity of 6,500kg, and as the name suggests, this product is designed for lifting lighter weight vehicles such as long wheel base vans. The product can be supplied with a range of platform lengths from 5.1–6m, depending on your individual requirements, and as with the Heavy Duty version, jacking beam and lighting options are available.

Heavy Duty Two Post Lift

The two post lift is ideal for those working with light weight commercial vehicles with a total weight of up

to 5,500kg. It will take up less precious workshop space than the four post, and lifts from the chassis, providing access not only to the underside of the vehicle but also to the wheel and associated operations. This provides a quick and effective means of lifting smaller commercial vehicles, providing more efficiency and productivity in busy light commercial garages.

So whether its strength and lifting capacity that you require, additional lighting and jacking options, or quick and easy wheel free access, we are sure to find the right fixed lift for you!
