New products prove a key highlight for visitors to the CV Show 2019

TotalKare’s launch of three new products proved a notable highlight for many visitors to the CV Show this month.

In addition to showcasing our market-leading T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts and commercial two post lift with vehicles generously provided by MAN Truck & Bus, TotalKare’s largest ever stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2019 provided the platform to announce the addition of brake testers, wash bay column lifts and a light commercial four post lift to our product portfolio.

Live demonstration of mobile brake tester

In particular, visitors found the live demonstration of our mobile brake tester a highlight within the Workshop area of the event, held at the NEC in Birmingham.

Capable of testing axle loads up to 20,000kg, the mobile brake tester is highly durable and galvanised, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use – even on uneven ground.

The launch comes as fleet and transport operators face a big decision about whether to continue outsourcing their brake tests or bring the process in-house – an investment representing value to many as DVSA guidelines stipulate the requirement to test brakes as part of every safety inspection.

Flexible new wash bay lifting solution

Also garnering interest at the CV Show was TotalKare’s brand new wash bay column lift.

A first for the UK, the G8AC wash bay column lift is purpose-built for outdoor use with sealed bearings and a galvanised finish to provide long term protection from water ingress.

Like TotalKare’s other mobile column lifts, each column has adjustable forks, can lift up to 7,500kg and they can be used in configurations of 4, 6 or 8 to suit a wide range of vehicle lifting requirements.

A more flexible solution than a galvanised four post lift, the G8AC also represents a more cost effective investment, with finance options available if required.

Lifting vans and small trucks made simple

TotalKare also showcased its new light commercial four post, again with a vehicle provided by MAN Truck & Bus.

Designed specifically for light commercial vehicles, TotalKare’s new light commercial four post lift can lift up to 6,500kg and is perfect for workshops where a permanent lifting location for vans and small trucks is required.

It can be surface or recess mounted and is available with drive on/drive through options, with platform lengths ranging from 5.1-6m.

Increase in two post lift enquiries

Following TotalKare’s introduction of its latest two post lift at last year’s CV Show, interest was again high from visitors to this year’s exhibition.

The two post lift is ideal for lifting long wheel base vehicles up to a safe working load of 5,500kg. It’s a quick, effective means of listing smaller commercial vehicles, with telescopic arms allowing for easy adjustment and a simple drive-in action facilitating fast set up and swift vehicle inspection.

Controllable from either column, the lift provides easy access to the wheel arch area of the vehicle being lifted.
