A Herring Introduces Multiple Lifting Solutions From Totalkare

Independent DAF Service Partner A Herring Ltd has introduced flexible vehicle lifting to its Derbyshire workshop with the investment in indoor and outdoor mobile column lifts from UK experts Totalkare.

The family-owned commercial vehicle repairer initially purchased a set of Totalkare’s state-of-the-art T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts in late 2019 in order to add a versatile vehicle lifting solution to its workshop, which previously only featured a vehicle inspection pit.  Impressed with the results, the Chesterfield-based service specialists followed this up with the acquisition of a set of G8AC wash bay mobile column lifts which enables vehicles to be lifted outdoors in all weather conditions.

With no interconnecting cables, Totalkare’s hydraulic T8DC is designed to be easily manoeuvred around the workshop and is an ideal lift for commercial vehicles, buses, coaches, skiploaders, waste & recycling vehicles and everything in between. Lifting up to 7,500kg per column, the cable-free mobile column lift can be configured in sets of 4, 6 or 8 to lift a wide range of vehicles, from light commercial vans to heavy duty four-axle vehicles.

Designed specifically to for outdoor use, the G8AC wash bay mobile column lift is fully galvanised with sealed bearings, giving long term protection from water ingress.  Like the T8DC mobile column lifts, the G8AC is versatile and can be configured in sets of four, six or eight to suit a range of lifting requirements, with adjustable forks to accommodate the lifting of a wide range of wheel diameters.
