Totalkare staff raise funds for Movember with moustache challenge
Staff members at Totalkare have proudly raised over £4,000 for Movember by growing moustaches throughout the month of November, rallying sponsorship and support from friends, family, colleagues and suppliers. The initiative, part of the globally recognised Movember campaign, aims to raise valuable funds and awareness for critical men’s health issues, including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Movember is dedicated to changing the face of men’s health by addressing the alarming statistics surrounding male mental health, suicide rates, and cancer diagnoses. Funds raised by the Totalkare team will go directly toward innovative research, life-saving programmes, and support networks that improve outcomes for men around the world.
The Totalkare team embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, fostering camaraderie while sparking important conversations about the causes they were supporting. From growing impressive moustaches to spreading the word on social media and beyond, the group demonstrated a collective commitment to making a tangible difference.
Steve Braund, Totalkare’s Marketing Manager and team captain for the Movember campaign, expressed immense pride in the team’s dedication and the support received from sponsors.
“This has been a fantastic journey for the Totalkare team, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone who participated and supported us. Growing moustaches might seem like a small gesture, but it sparked countless conversations and reminded us all how important these causes are. Raising over £4,000 is a testament to the generosity of our sponsors and the dedication of our staff. It’s been a privilege to contribute to Movember’s incredible mission to change the face of men’s health… though the moustaches were swiftly dispatched come December!”
This achievement reflects Totalkare’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community. The company has a proud history of supporting charitable initiatives and is passionate about promoting open conversations around mental health and well-being.
