Freeland Freight Services Invests in Mobile Brake Tester to Boost Fleet Safety

Freeland Freight Services

Freeland Freight Services, a logistics and freight provider, has taken a significant step to enhance vehicle safety and compliance by investing in a mobile brake tester from Totalkare, a leading provider of vehicle workshop equipment in the UK.

Based in Aberdeen, the heart of the UK’s freight corridor, Freeland Freight Services operates a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers, providing nationwide haulage services. With increasing demand and a growing number of vehicles on the road daily, the company recognised the need for more streamlined, accurate, and compliant brake testing procedures.

Freeland Freight Services have recently partnered with Totalkare and acquired a mobile brake tester to ensure their trucks and lorries are in top condition before heading out into the roads, preventing accidents and breakdowns. Our mobile brake testers, provide accurate and reliable data regarding the safety of your vehicle, this makes sure that the vehicle you are testing stays safe on long and short journeys while obeying safety standards and protocols. Our standard model can test up to 16,000 kg axle load, though we offer an upgraded version that can test up to 20,000 kg, which is perfect for a range of commercial vehicles.

Phillip Sutherland at Freeland Freight services had this to say “We required a highly adaptable and accurate mobile brake testing unit, this is why we commissioned Totalkare. Safety has always been our top priority, and Totalkare’s mobile brake tester, aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence and vehicle safety.”

Commenting on the recent partnership Area Sales Manager Nigel Poynton said “For Freeland Freight Services, brake testing can be carried out quickly and accurately on-site, reducing downtime by eliminating the need to take vehicles to an external testing facility. The 20,000kg maximum axle load ensures that even the heaviest fully laden trucks in the fleet can be tested without issue, keeping operations compliant while maximising vehicle availability.”
