Details

This is a chassis loading brake tester with lifting roller beds. When the lifting beds raise the chains secured to the rails in the ground via the moveable skate and chain apply load to the vehicle/trailer being tested. Using the DTP number of the vehicle the brake tester as standard will apply a 65% load on the axle being tested.

Each roller bed is lifted on 4 hydraulic cylinders and is controlled by software that has built-in safety features, protecting the vehicle and operator during the brake test. It can lift 16,000kg axle loads to a unique height of 255mm above floor level.

The skate and chain move with the vehicle so only one connection to the vehicles chassis as it will move with the vehicle during the test.
